Lake Jamno — a natural arena for water sports

Lake Jamno is a body of water with an area of over 2200 hectares, which arose from a former sea bay gradually cut off from the Baltic by a growing spit. The Jamno Canal connects it to the sea, located about 2 km beyond Unieście. The average depth of the lake is only 1.4 metres (a maximum of 3.9 m), which, combined with the absence of strong currents and sea waves, makes it an exceptionally safe place for water activities.

The water in the lake warms up faster than in the Baltic Sea, and bays sheltered from the wind provide comfortable conditions even on days when it is too windy at sea. This is precisely why the vast majority of water attractions in Mielno operate on the side of Lake Jamno, and not from the sea side.

Jet skis and motorboats — adrenaline on the lake

For seekers of strong impressions, a fleet of jet skis and motorboats of various classes has been prepared — from family models to sports units with over 200 hp. Driving a jet ski does not require a sailing licence, and every session begins with a briefing and includes a life jacket. The ride time starts from 15 minutes, which allows you to adjust the intensity to your own preferences and budget.

Motorboats without a licence are, in turn, a proposal for those who want to drive the boat across the lake themselves. The units can carry up to 4 people and are equipped with motors of up to 15 hp — enough to feel the pleasure of sailing, while being safe for novice captains.

Kayaks, SUP and pedal boats — recreation at a calm pace

At the other end of the spectrum is the recreational offer: kayaks, SUP boards and pedal boats. Single and double kayaks and SUP boards (stand-up paddleboards) are an excellent way to actively spend time on the water without rushing. The calm waters of Lake Jamno mean that even people standing on a SUP for the first time feel confident and safe.

Pedal boats — in standard version and with a slide and parasol — are a classic proposal for families. The lack of a time limit allows them to be used at one’s own pace, without rush and stress.

Water Amusement Park — inflatable obstacle course on the lake

Children and teenagers will especially appreciate the Water Amusement Park — an inflatable obstacle course set up directly on the surface of Lake Jamno. Trampolines, slides and climbing walls on the water guarantee hours of active entertainment. All elements are secured, and participants receive life jackets. The tickets are valid all day, so you can return to the course many times.

Mila boat cruises — the lake from on board

Whoever prefers to admire the area in peace should take a Mila boat cruise. A forty-five-minute cruise with a guide allows you to learn about the history of Mielno and the nature of Lake Jamno from a perspective inaccessible from land. There is room for 51 passengers on board, and pets are welcome.
