The Mini Lighthouse in Mielno is one of the most recognisable points of the resort — a colourful structure stylised as a lighthouse, standing on the shore of Lake Jamno at ul. Bolesława Chrobrego 23. It serves as the base for Water Fun attractions (known as the “U Latarnika” base) and as an iconic photo spot that tourists often choose for souvenir photos from holidays in Mielno.
Mini Lighthouse — symbol of Mielno on Lake Jamno
The structure of the Mini Lighthouse is located right by the marina on Lake Jamno, in the centre of Mielno’s water attractions. The colour scheme and characteristic form make it one of the most recognisable elements of the Mielno landscape from the lake side — it presents itself particularly well at sunset, when light floods the structure, the surface of the lake and the boats moored at the marina.
In Google Maps, the location is marked as “Mini Latarnia w Mielnie” — a tourist attraction with user reviews. The structure itself is available free of charge, and next to it are paid water attractions organised by Water Fun Mielno.
Water Fun U Latarnika water attractions base

- Jet skis and motorboats — 5 jet ski models (from SeaDoo Spark for beginners to Yamaha Cruiser 230 hp) and motorboats for up to 4 people without a required licence.
- Kayak, SUP and pedal boat rental — equipment for families and beginners, vests and briefing included.
- Water Amusement Park — inflatable obstacle course on the water (full-day ticket 81 PLN online).

Is there a full-scale lighthouse in Mielno?
No. The Mini Lighthouse itself in Mielno plays the role of an ornamental, symbolic structure — it is not a functioning navigational lighthouse. The nearest full-scale, historic lighthouse is the lighthouse in Gąski, located 13 km to the west of Mielno. It is the second tallest lighthouse in Poland (50.2 m, 190 granite steps), with an observation terrace and a panorama of the Baltic Sea covering Sarbinowo, Chłopy, Mielno and Unieście.
The second “height” worth visiting is the observation tower on Chełmska Mountain in Koszalin — 15 km from Mielno, 31 m, 140 steps, the only point from which you can see the entire Lake Jamno from the land side.
